The words we use, in plain English

If a word on this site isn’t clear, you’ll find it here, with a link to the page where it comes up.

Approval
The check your Nym does before it buys something or changes a connected account. You see what it’s about to do and say yes or no.
Buying for you
Your Nym orders from stores like Amazon and from independent online shops. You see the item and the total, and nothing is bought until you approve. Plus and Pro.
Connected account
An account you’ve linked, like Gmail, Notion or Instacart, so your Nym can work in it for you.
Credits
What your Nym spends as it works. One credit is worth one cent, and your plan’s credits refill each month.
Early access
We’re letting people in a few at a time. Request access and we’ll email you when it’s your turn.
Nym
A personal assistant you text, call or chat with. It has its own email address and browser, and it takes the annoying jobs in your life off your plate.
Its own calendar
On Plus and Pro, your Nym sends invitations from its own address and calendar, not yours.
Personal app
A small app your Nym builds for one job, like a workout log or a gift list. It keeps your entries between visits.
Saved login
A login you give your Nym once, so it can sign in to a site for you in its own browser.
Scheduled work
A task your Nym does at a time you set, once or on a repeating schedule, like a Sunday check-in. Plus and Pro.
Starting point
The five ready-made Nyms: Personal Trainer, Shopper, Assistant, Chef and Teacher. You can change any of them into what you need.
