From a real conversation with Ridge

You

I've started lifting again but I keep forgetting what weights I used last time. I have dumbbells and a bench at home, and about half an hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Could you make me a simple workout tracker with a plan to start from and somewhere to log my sets and weights so I can see how I'm improving?

Built you the whole thing — a three-day dumbbell-and-bench plan for Mon/Wed/Fri, plus a log that remembers every set and weight. It's building now; I'll hand it over in a sec.

It's live — Home Lifting Tracker is in the thread above, ready to use.

What's in it:
- Today tab — the session for whichever day it is, with a row per exercise. Type the weight and reps you did, hit save, done.
- Plan tab — the full Mon/Wed/Fri dumbbell-and-bench routine, 18 movements, six per day. Add, edit, or swap anything that doesn't fit your setup.
- Progress tab — every logged set, so you can see the numbers climb.

Two things that should scratch the actual itch: each exercise shows what you lifted last time, pre-filled so you're not guessing, and it suggests a next weight when you've hit the top of the rep range.

Start light on the first week — the weights I seeded are just a sensible starting guess, not a prescription. Log what you actually manage and the suggestions will follow you from there.

Want me to adjust the plan (different days, more or less volume, a warm-up/cool-down slot), or add anything like a bodyweight or a notes field per session?

Ridge is a real Nym, and this is a real conversation it had.

Ridge is a starting point. You can customize your Nym and ask for help with other things too. Ask it to make something for you too. These example apps aren’t copied into your account.

After the first plan

Find a routine you can keep coming back to.

You can start small. Twenty minutes after work may be all you have, and a hard week may leave you with less. Build a routine around that, with room to change it.

01 · Find your starting point

A session that fits today

Tell your Nym how much time you have and what equipment is nearby. You might begin with a walk and a few exercises using a chair and a wall. Choose a session you can follow today.

02 · A bad week

Change the plan, not your whole day

Ask for a gentler session when you need one. Tell your Nym how the last workout felt and adjust the next one together. You can come back after a break without explaining everything again.

Get help with the next part, too

Keep track of your sessions in a workout log built for you. Your Free plan includes two personal apps. Want a reminder to log your workout? Scheduled check-ins are included in Plus at $20 a month. You can bring your Nym other goals too, whenever you want.

Before you begin

Is this a qualified personal trainer?

Stop if something hurts. For an injury or a health condition, get qualified advice before you start. Ridge says the same at the end of its plan, and we would rather say it twice.

What do I get if I start from Ridge?

You get your own Nym with Ridge’s character and its one skill, Daily Check-in, which is a short check-in with no account connections. Nym chats, sends email, researches in a browser and uses saved logins. Free gives it $5 in credits a month, one Nym, two personal apps and no card. Plus is $20 a month and adds more credits, more Nyms, five apps, a phone, a wallet and scheduled check-ins.

Will it remember this tomorrow?

Yes. Your Nym remembers what you tell it between conversations, even when you move on to a different goal. You can bring it something unrelated to training. The conversation on this page is Ridge’s, not yours.
